Shardz Glass Sculptures @NYIGF
I met glass artist Fay Miller at the NY International Gift Show last week and she showed me some of her amazing handmade and self blown glass sculptures. She told me about her huge studio space in Woodland Hills, California and her love for glass pieces with a message. The following images are from shardz.net

Mr Big by Fay Miller
Her art pieces have cultural relevance and a strong connection with current events like political elections, conversations and the forces of Mother Nature. Fay’s pieces reflect the inspiration she finds around her and they are just an amazing piece for and office or home.

@TheNailsShow London Event Launch
I know I can’t be the only girl obsessed with nails, and I finally found a place to call home with @TheNailsShow today at CARGO. For £15 at the door you can glam up your nails with other like-minded divas.
I got to chat with Nicole, the founder of Total Renewal who created tonights event. She realized the growing need for nail buffs to have a place to shine outside of the salon. As she says, ““Nails have become an accessory, a fashion statement and a part of our regular grooming.”
This is the first time I witnessed a manicure show-down. With only 20 minutes to design it was as intense as Hell’s Kitchen.
This is my favourite look of the day. Aren’t they pretty?
This sure beats mani-dates at the salon! Follow @TheNailsShow to check out who also attended tonight’s event and make sure to mark your calendar for the next one.
Until next time! Cheers, @missamandachen

F.O.A.M Festival Toronto @FOAM_TO
I got an invite to the F.O.A.M Festival, and was so excited to check it out, especially because this was my first one and I heard there’d be lots of artwork and good music from local artists…oh and lots of SMORES to snack on!! Even though the weather was TERRIBLE, I had a good time checking out the art, snacking on smokes, and having a good laugh with ReeRee and Nathaniel. All in all, it was a good night 🙂
yummmmmmmm
Thank you for inviting me!

Excited for F.O.A.M Festival
DJ M.O.S. (New York, Miami) headlines the inaugural event and DJ Tom Wrecks (Toronto) and DJ/drum crew CrashDex (Toronto) have been invited to lend their homegrown talent to the musical stage.
A carefully-crafted list of emerging and established Toronto artists have been invited to create art installations using recycled and discarded materials, supporting Evergreen’s policy to promote and encourage sustainability. Artists will manipulate the Brick Works using sound, space and light, working within a theme aptly titled “Construct/Deconstruct”.
FOAM is held in support of motionball, a not-for-profit that introduces the next generation of supporters to the Special Olympics Canada movement through social and sporting events. To date, motionball has donated more than $2.7 million to Special Olympics Canada.
I’m going! Are you going???
Tickets are $35, get yours here!See you there!

FAT Launch Party @FaToronto
I went to the FAT Launch/Drake Lab Exhibit opening party this weekend, and lasted all of 5 minutes… I don’t know, I guess I was just in a stay-at-home-and-away-from-humans kinda mood lol. I did take some pictures though, and from some of the stuff I saw, I have a feeling FAT Toronto is going to be all kinds of awesome this year!
Have fun at FAT!
