Me and The Sony Bloggie at @TAP_toronto 2012
About a week ago, I attended the opening night preview of The Artist Project over at exhibition place. A handful of bloggers/online personalities were invited to celebrate The Artist Project’s fifth anniversary, and we also got a chance to try out the new Sony Bloggie Touch 8GB HD. This was my first Artist Project event, so I was super excited to see what was in store; and I can’t lie, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on one of those Sony Bloggies.I’m always BLOWN AWAY when I attend shows that display peoples creativity, and I often leave convinced that these people have magic minds, hands, spirits, you name it, cause their work is so amazing! I had loads of fun oohing, aahing, and imagining all the art pieces in my tiny apartment… a girl can dream. I captured my adventures of The Artist Project using the Sony Bloggie Touch, which is so easy to use by the way. It’s light, takes good pictures, and it’s super cute! The best part is that once you’re done taking your pictures and/or video, you can just plug it into your computer and upload your pictures to your computer/desired social network/email etc, as it comes with a built in usb flip out arm. Need one. Want one. NOW.
The show featured 200 artists, and was on for 4 days. I managed to take in all 200 artists in one night, and it was heavenly 🙂 Here are some of my favorite pieces!
I love these

these are cute and scary at the same time…

Show Stopping Shoes @unitednude
Looking to update your shoe collection? You’re wardrobe isn’t complete without a pair of UNITED NUDE’s innovative, quirky, yet sleek designs. Each shoe is a work of art, perfectly crafted by the creators: architect Rem, and shoemaker Galahad.
Their story, is a unique one, which is no coincidence after seeing what their designs are like. This story begins with a broken heart. Rem’s attempt to get the girl back was made by downsizing architecture to its smallest and most vulnerable scale, that of a woman’s foot.
While most romantic notions are often foolish, what was hatched through the inspiration of romance was the ‘Möbius’ shoe. The girl was gone, but he knew the shoe had to become real.
Now add Galahad to our story. The seventh generation of the Clark’s shoe-making dynasty.
When Rem and Galahad first met, Galahad saw the Möbius shoe design, and he was instantly convinced that a new brand had to be formed.
Joined together, Rem and Galahad created United Nude. The name derived from the fact that products evolve from international teams in an open way with direct recognition. United Nude launched in 2003 with the ‘Möbius’ shoe. Since then, United Nude has established itself as an iconic brand at the intersection between design and fashion.
Their Spring/Summer 2012 Collection features a wide range of shoe designs for both men and women, from booties and flats, to mid and high-heeled sandals. Here are a few of my favorite picks from the collection, perfect for a show-stopping Spring Season. United Nude products are about clear concepts, elegance and innovation. Be prepared to turn heads, ladies.
Check out all the fabulous styles and designs at the United Nude website.

My first tattoo!!
Sup Cole World!
So my friend who has her company http://girlswithflair.com/ wanted to know if i would rep her company by getting a tattoo on my arm that symbolizes her brand and of course i sad YES! I was up gettn this tattoo done at like 5 in the morning, they will tell you all that i cried like a little girl while i got it done, but i think i did great ;0) lol.
The tattoo symbolizes ‘Girls With Flair!’, so i chose to get a silhouette of a womans face with her hair going straght back. As you can see, the colors get firey as it go towards the back, that’s the part that represent the flair! :0)

@TheWorkbook & Art Directors Club @adcglobal Creative Circus
Workbook and Art Directors Club brought art to life last week with its inaugural Creative Circus. 100 artists and photographers feverishly snapped, sketched and painted burlesque performers as guests witnessed this living gallery, served by some of the fiercest cross-dressers I’ve seen!
The Art Directors Club is a concentrated group of creative talent and a gathering place for leaders in visual communication. It was formed in 1920 by Louis Pedlar as a way to unite colleagues in the advertising, to dignify their profession, and judge advertising art by the same standards as fine art.
Workbook is dedicated to providing the creative community premium sourcebooks and a website with comprehensive features and resources for finding top talent and services.
All of the art was available for purchase, hot off the easel!
Here are some of the sights and scenes from the evening…
Yes, that’s a real nail, and yes, her’s really hammering it up his nostril!!
This was pretty cool…when you take a photo head on of on at the floor/wall mural, it creates a 3-day effect.
kisses, Olisa
