Indulge these holidays with @MaijanBeauty
For the past two weeks I’ve been treating my hair to shampoo and conditioning treatments from Maijan. This dynamic company uses pure Argan oil in all its products to provide hair and skin with complete hydration and luxurious healing powers.

I was intrigued by Maijan because of their commitment in delivering all natural products. Their shampoo and conditioner combo protect hair with natural antioxidants, are sulfate- and paraben-free, 100% vegan and safe to use on colored or keratin-treated hair.

But the greatest thing about Maijan shampoo + conditioner is the hint of mint! Both products contain peppermint oil that adds a refreshing scent in and out of the shower. Plus, key ingredients such as aloe leaf juice, grape seed oil, apricot kernel oil, and hemp seed oil, make hair extremely silky smooth and so easy to manage.
Both the Maijan Pure Argan Oil & Mint Hydrating Shampoo + Condition is available exclusively on Stylebell.com and during the holidays you can take an extra 30% off Maijan products.
So it’s a great idea to check out their entire line because it includes everything from essential oil treatments and all-natural facial kits to shimmer shine spray for those locks!

Back-To-School Goodies with Modella + @got2bUSA!
September is finally here and that means the hot sticky summers are coming to an end (hooray!) and school is back in session! And I’m coming across a ton of goodies to get you ready for school and looking fab 🙂
But first you’ll need to get organized, right? Modella knows how. This company is well known for its creative designs and lush color palettes and their chic new collection is no different. These cosmetic pouches and travel accessories hold a little or a lot. Grab one of their multi-piece traveler sets or go with a roomy organizer (like the one pictured below)—I crammed all my daily necessities in there and still had room for more.
And what I love about these products is that they’re stylishly made but they’re also completely affordable. The entire range retails from around $3 up to $22 and they’re all available at Walmart. Must have!
Another back-to-school goodie I’ve come across is göt2b oil-licious styling oil. I’ve mentioned before how lazy I can be when it comes to my hair, but this styling oil really works a treat. I put it in my hair while it was damp and it gave my locks an incredible shine. I.N.C.R.E.D.I.B.L.E. Maybe I could get used to having perfectly presentable hair!
The beauty of this oil is that it can also be used on dry hair. Add a little to that frazzled hair and the oil smooths and calms it into submission! It also smells divine — none of that typical chemical smell…this one is definitely a keeper. It retails for around $5.99 at drugstores. Get it!

Lazy Hair Gal Meets @JohnFriedaUS — Mind Blown!
Trust me when I say I hate to style my hair. I’m happy to wake up and leave the apartment without so much as a quick comb through my locks (terrible, I know). But John Frieda Styling Tools by Conair has changed everything about my morning routine. And I want to share it with you pretty peeps!
Due for a hairdryer upgrade? I know I was. The Salon Shine Dryer is more than just another hair dryer though—this little beauty packs 1875 watts of power into a compact design and is kind to your hair by giving you more shine and less f
rizz. Less frizz, more shine? Now you’re talking.
Another thing I’m loving is the John Frieda Paddle Brush. I admit to not being a fan of early morning hair combing but this hairbrush is nothing like the previous ones I’ve owned. This brush is actually made with shine-enhancing silicone bristles and natural IONS to smooth fly-aways (fly-away hair? Been there too many times!).
And the piece de resistance? The Satin Finish Flat Iron. Seriously, guys, if there’s only one hair styling tool you buy this year, it’s gotta be this one. It heats up in just 15 seconds and it protects hair from heat damage with titanium-coated plates. I straightened my hair—from root to end—in less than 10 minutes. TEN MINUTES! For a lazy hair person, this was magic.
All three are back-to-school must-haves. Rushing-before-work must-haves. And I-can’t-be-bothered-it’s-the-weekend must-haves. Hair styling has never been more effortless!
John Frieda Styling Tools by Conair Salon Shine Dryer ($39.99)
John Frieda Styling Tools by Conair Satin Finish Flat Iron ($54.99)

@NexxusHair Hydra-Light for my Smooth Light Asian Hair
I am always open to trying new hair products and even ones made for different ethnicity hair. From my experimentation, I have learned that heavy heavy conditioners weigh my hair down, makes it look greasy and even makes my forehead break out. So maybe my hair isn’t as dry and damaged as I thought.
I know that dry hair requires moisture (aka water) but not oils so when I discovered Nexxus Hydra-Light, I was eager to see how it would transform my tresses.

1. The Hydra Light Shampoo has the most beautiful bottle that is an irridescent pearly baby blue. The actual shampoo is clear and very suddy. I love the faint scent it has and the way it leaves my hair feeling very clean.

2. The Hydra-Light Conditioner
The magic ingredient in this conditioner is coconut oil and sea salt. I love that this ingredient is infused into the formula and it doesn’t at all smell like coconut. It is light enough for everyday use but rich enough to keep my hair cooperating.

3. Hydra-Light Root Lift Mist
An interesting atomizer that works surprising well. I just put my head upside down with my wet hair hanging down and give a few spritz pre-blow dry. It works great and makes my hair really bouncy.

4. Leave In Conditioner Foam
I have never seen a product like this in foam. Sometimes I just shampoo my hair and use this. It prevent flyaways and static with the premium formula with glycerin helps make hair more manageable and flexible for styling.Sometimes if you spend a bit more on haircare, you will have a much easier life and better day!

@FreshFounder Fresh is Back in Union Square!
Last week, Fresh re-opened its Union Square store after renovations with cocktails, snacks, music and mini-spa treatments for guests. Shecky’s co-sponsored this night of pampering and indulgence.
Fresh features luxurious fragrances, skin care, body care, makeup, haircare and home products made with all-natural ingredients like sugar, milk, soy, and rice.
I tried the Brown Sugar Body Polish ($65-14.1 oz, $38-7oz) and fell in love! It’s an all-natural exfoliant with real brown sugar crystals that dissolve as they buff away dry skin. The blend of precious oils leave your skin unbelievably soft. And the smell…it’s as decadent as the name suggests.
Check out @FreshFounder at: www.fresh.com
