    @WMCFashionWeek Day One Favourites!

    Check out our favourite shows from day one of World MasterCard Fashion Week. We LOVED the Mikhael Kale, LINE Knitwear, Beaufille and Sid Neigum shows! I’m used to seeing Fall/Winter collections full of black and dark colours, and I absolutely love that these designers stepped out the box and gave us lots of colours, prints, and textures. It was glorious! Check out some of our favourite pieces. Enjoy! Mikhael Kale FW14 LINE Knitwear FW14 Sid Neigum FW14Beaufille FW14 What did you think of day one? The weather was still crap, but that wasn’t enough to stop all the fashionistas from coming down to then tents to catch their favourite shows. My favourite shows? DUY brought it! Line Knitwear was wonderful and of course David Dixon never disappoints. Day two was a good day, three more to go!   Some video for you 🙂 Happy Fashion Week-ing! Bella

    Toronto Frocktail Party 2012

    The 4th annual Frocktail Party was a huge success with more than 600 guests who came out to support the JDRF. This year’s event had a record breaking auction – nearly doubling the previous years raising $30,000. Some of this year’s auction highlights include a custom suit from Garrison Bespoke taking the title of highest selling item, Suzanne Rogers Marchesa gown was the highest selling dress and the Smythe blazer donated by eLUXE sparked a major bidding war. Notable guests from the evening were Suzanne Rogers, Johnny Hockin, Tommy Ton, Stephen…

    Video: Day Three @WMCFashion Week

    So after day two of World MasterCard Fashion Week, we were pretty disappointed and a little worried that the rest of Fashion Week was going to be um… boring. But as you can see from the picture, Mo and I had lots of fun! Bustle, LINE, VAWK, Cara Cheung and Melissa Nepton were some of my favourite shows. Highlights of the day? Stacey McKenzie on the BUSTLE runway. She killed the runway, and the crowd was crazy with excitement! The women in the crowd shamelessly flirting with the male models during the BUSTLE show. There was winking, lip licking, whistling… you name it they were doing it lol. A video…

    LINE Knitwear

    Toronto based brand LINE gave the city’s fashion elite a new definition for knitwear, with the showcase of their Fall Winter 2010 runway collection “Pretty Dark.”   Designers Jennifer Wells and John Muscat put together a truly innovative show for Canadian Fashion and for knitwear as a fashion medium.  Up and coming supermodel Alana Zimmer, opened and closed the show which featured forty looks of chic and sexy knitwear from head to toe.       The winter fantasy feel of the clothing itself gave the eye a visual feast of various textures ranging from rows of luxurious cashmere ruffles and petals layered with silk chiffon, along with sumptuous hand knit patterns  that were…
