    Patricia Field x Barbie

I got a bunch of Tweets and emails asking me about the bag I used at the GShock event… So here it is…

I rock mine with a Barbie pink ribbon and a pheasant feather I got on Venice beach. It represents prosperity and resourcefulness. Both of which is a constant reminder of what I do and who I am. The pheasant is a native bird of China where it is revered for its beauty, its feather represents yang energy and so it carries attributes of fire, life, summer and action. They are the cousin of a peacock but not quite the same. Their energy stimulates sexuality, encourages creativity, and enhances energy. Now you know why I have it right?

It’s the Pat Field x Barbie LUXE Limited Edition Hobo in Black Croc that I got in 2009, wasn’t expensive but definitely a statement piece and one of my favs. Every day practicality with piazzas!

Katy Perry has the white one, but you know me. All Black Everything!

    Paris Hilton has one too

    A real Barbie? Yup!

    Mystery Guy #10

Guys with backpacks have a soft spot in every girl’s heart. There is a vulnerability that is so cute and reminiscent of your playground love or your high school crush. It is cute the way the Hush Puppy Bassett Hound is.  It is a weird sexy, youthful allure that cannot really be described.  You know there are Wall St guys and then there are guys with backpacks. There is a time and place for both, you feel me?

Hey Mystery guy on the C train – there is definitely something about you. Are you an Arabian prince?  At first, I definitely thought you might be the ‘same guy’ and I couldn’t stop looking at you throw birds on your iPhone 4. Your ‘rolled outta bed’ head look probably required some exclusive pomade that only you and your hair stylist knows about – or you really just woke up that sexy. I like your nonchalant ways and that you are causally just super hero like. You have super long arms and maybe all the jackets you buy have sleeves too short – maybe if you were a suit guy, you would have custom shirts made with your initials embroidered on the cuffs. How endearing. I like you – Maybe cuz you are tall, maybe cuz you caught my eye – but most probably because i know nothing of you.

I have become the unofficial NY rep for my TO/LA friends. Well I discovered a hot spot last night just around the corner. Alma 33 is amazing! Argentine cuisine with no attitude. Perfect tapas, scrumptious drinks, cool Dyson hand dryer in the bathroom and music that is just perfect. Make sure you say hi to the cute owner/bartender Rich and tell him I sent you.
