Sockerbit
A new candy store popped up in the neighborhood! Stark white and full of delicious Swedish treats. The staff is friendly and the selection is amazing. I tried a little bit of every piece and my bill came to $3.68. My favorite is the Cola Snake, the square marshmellows and coconut clusters. I will be back for sure. *sweet & swedish*
GMO free ingredients is very important and a great unique selling point. Being just down the street is also wonderful 🙂 Just to quench my candy cravings this summer. Sweet!

Cetaphil Face Cleanser
THE HOLY GRAIL OF FACIAL CLEANSERS!!!!

I swear by this stuff. I’m talking about the Cetaphil Gentle Face Cleanser. Really lame story of how I discovered Cetaphil but I’ll tell it anyway. So a few years ago probably at least 5 years ago I’d say? I was reading on Seventeen mag’s website’s Beauty Tips. There was a feature asking models about their skin care routine and a few of the girls mentioned Cetaphil so I decided to try it. BEST PURCHASE EVER!
Cetaphil for sensitive skin is like a gel and does NOT foam. It’s super smooth, has no scent, and its great for all skin types even safe enough to use on babies. Makes your skin SO soft. I even use it as a makeup remover around my eyes. It doesn’t irritate my eyes like a lot of makeup removers do.
I used to have pretty bad skin. Horrid blemishes. After using Cetaphil my skin started clearing up. I really do swear by this stuff. If you’ve been jumping cleanser to cleanser try this one! Its less than $15 depending where you get it and its a huge bottle that’ll last you a long time.
xo, June 🙂

Twisted Circus 11
George Brown Special Event Planing students are throwing us a party! Well not “us us” but “us” in general 🙂 Twisted Circus 2011 takes place this April 6th at the Courthouse, from 6:30 to 10:30pm, aaaahhh my kinda party. Proceeds from the event are in support of a student scholarship for Special Event Planning students at George Brown college as well as in support of the Canadian Red Cross Japan Earthquake/Asia-Pacific Tsunami fund relief efforts.
Attendees can be excited about having ALL of their 5 senses, teased, tantalized and pleased with the many engaging activites that the event will feature. Get ready to experience the entertaining, and exciting deviant side of the circus, with performances, circus acts, singers, dancers, competitions, jugglers, a fashion show by Justin James and more. There will also be a Twitter station, a silent auction, make-up station and tonnes of other fun stuff! Just in time for Spring, so make sure you go out and support them 🙂

Pacific Natural Foods
I eat out more than anyone I know, I am at the favorite restaurants at least 3 times a week. I do love to cook at home and this weekend I am going in! The key to making a good meal is to not wait til you are starving to start cooking. I want to be involved with my food but I can’t be peeling carrots and washing mushrooms. I am a busy girl. The perfect solution of busy city folks like myself – a little bit short on seasoning and time but want that full flavor goodness. Last month I tried Pacific Natural Foods at a trade show and discovered these. Condensed cream soups that can be an easy lunch, a beautiful side for a panini or even poured over pasta for a quick movie ‘date nite’ thing.
These are perfect for smoothies and they don’t have to refrigerated until you open them. You guys already know that I am a smoothie fanatic! Here are some of my favorite recipes here. I am going to make all sorts of concoctions with all the goodies they sent me. The hazelnut milk is out of this world! Yummm with Bailey’s anyone? You can get Pacific Natural Foods at Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s and fine natural food stores. Read the labels, you will smile.
Thank you to Maxwell PR

OCC Lip Tar S/S 2011
I am obsessed. Here is the new line up of New York based Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics for Spring Summer 2011.
Wasabi green lips are super hot. This look is raw like yellowtail sashimi and one of my favorites from the new collection.

Analog (Chocolate color) and Tone (Pinkish Vanilla) makes me think of desserts, milkshakes and ice cream cones. This summer is going to be so sexy! Two-tone lips, twist cones and maybe a mixed boyfriend on the side.Interlace is the color of pure love. My tanktop says it all. It’s a beautiful day. Jacob loves peach colored kisses all day.
Orange you glad you came by? This is Beta the pylon colored awesomeness. Hits you like a bang bang bang
Love makes you do crazy things. Red lipstick, late nights over the Brooklyn bridge and waking up with a smile on your face.I love OCC Liptars but you already knew that.
Big thank you to OCC for fueling my obsessions.
