    Petite Feet Sale S/S’11

I flew in bright and early from NYC to attend and tweet at the biggest shoe sale in Canada, the Petite Feet Sale. (Yep! That’s me Ghost-Tweeting) Shannae from WhatWomenWant and I sped along the Hwy 427 in Sean’s black beamer to the sale straight from the airport. Thanks Sean!

Voyage Leopard Lorissa (sample, not for sale!)

We got there shortly after 10 and it was already buzzing with women, baskets of shoes and racks of even more shoes.

This sale always blows my mind. So many samples from various designers and so many pairs of size 6.

With over 20,000 pairs, you have to skillfully scan the racks to pick up the perfect ones – details, heel shape and height, color, patterns and that gasp omg appeal.  Curation is key in an overwhelming setting like this.
One of the girls saw my picks and said, I was happy with my selections til I saw yours.  Practice makes perfect – this is my 5th year of going to the sale.  Here are some of my faves.

Go to WhatWomenWant for our little video of the sale. The sale is on for the entire long weekend just click the pink poster on the top right of the blog to get details.

Follow @PetiteFeetSale and FourSquare check-in when you get there!

    Yoga Tree for Me

The people over at Yoga Tree know that we’re committed to making sure that our minds and bodies stay RIGHT, so you can only imagine how we pleased we were; when they informed us of their new downtown location. I was particularly excited, cause it’s literally a hop and a skip away! WINNER.

“We’d love everyone to take a moment to pause and reflect on the recent crisis in Japan and focus on how we can enliven our environmental community and contribute to a brighter and cleaner future,”-Debbie Fung

Yoga Tree is committed to promoting a healthy lifestyle and community, as well as incorporating sustainable practices in order to preserve the environment. I am ALL about that 🙂 This innovative and eco-friendly studio opened its doors last month, and is located in the heart of downtown Toronto, at 140 Spadina at Richmond St. West.

“We believe in creating a space where we can enrich the lives of our students and generate physical and mental healing through the classes we provide.”-Debbie Fung

Yoga For Japan on April 21 was the first of Yoga Tree’s monthly Class for a Cause initiative- “Each month the studio will donate all proceeds from their Hatha Flow class @5PM on Fridays to a chosen charity.” These classes are offered at a reduced cost of only  $10/person.

Okay so the place looks dope. This means that the only question left to ask is… who wants to go???

    peace, love and health

In the Biz – David Klein

You may not know his name but you sure know his products!

Most entrepreneurs would be thrilled to create a product that generates millions of dollars and garners national media attention. My guest, The Candy Man David Klein, has done just that. He’s the inventor of Jelly Bellies, the sweet gelatin candy that changed the jelly bean market and got the endorsement of President Ronald Reagan. Ironically, Mr. Klein is not associated with the Jelly Belly Company and is not benefiting financially from its success. We’ll discuss how this and the film that tells his story in more detail. “Candy Man: The David Klein Story”. Mr. Klein currently operates another candy company, Sandy Candy, with his daughter.
