Rock the Bells Comes To Toronto
Rock the Bells is a great music festival that showcases many talents. The next Rock the Bells Festival is in NYC on September 3rd! So all you NYCers get the deets (which I’ll post soon times- hopefully) and check it out.
Rock the Bells used to come to Toronto and about 2 years ago they just stopped this festival here. The last time we had this festival here in T Dot the artists were welcomed by an egstatic and energized crowd that was dancing to every song. The concert, had performances by Damian Marley, K’naan and Common, and it was supposed to come back in 2010 however it didn’t.
But it’s BACK!!! Rock The Bells- Toronto will be on September 8th, and will have performances by Ms. Lauryn Hill, Nas, Illmatic, Pete Rock, AZ, and DJ Premier have been said to appear. The concert, has pre-sale tickets being sold NOW and will take place at the Molson Amphitheatre. This will be one of the most entertaining hip hop concerts of the year! I LOVE ALL THESE CONCERTS!!! CAN’T WAIT!!!

Ever since seeing 88 Days Of Fortune perform at Droppin’ Knowledge, I’ve been hooked. They had another event at loft 404- the ambrosia hub; featuring Bahia Watson, and it was F-AWESOME! I didn’t know who Bahia Watson was before Friday night, but after her performance; I will never ever forget her.
Thank you so much to the 88DOF family for sharing their incredible talents with us, and for treating us to another wonderful evening.

The Hamptons Fitness & Wellness Soiree
Team NY HeyDoYou! Olisa and I 🙂Miss Ahlilah Longmire threw a little Soiree in the Hamptons this weekend and me and Olisa trekked up there. After a 2 hour + drive up there on a Saturday, we were greeted by cucumber crab snacks and various cocktails. Dr. Emily Splichal recognized by stiletto lovers as Dr. Legs was selling her books and dvds, and PIX 11 Dr. Steve Salvatore said he is so glad that ‘no one fat’ was in attendance. O_o ooookay!
There were complimentary massages, reflexology and pedi + manis. Here is the lady giving me side eye for disrupting her zen.
Even though the pool was sparkling and the liquor was flowing, most people sat around with their friends, not mingling. Tsk tsk. Big pet peeve of mine.
I love this cork mirror and that i’m not wearing what people are ‘suppose’ to wear to the Hamptons. Jus saying.
