    7 Things to Do Today

Let’s relax ladies and gents, and actually not worrying about the minimal things today. Let’s ‘forget’ about these things today.

    1. Saying YES when you actually mean NO. – Say NO today. Do IT. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO (such empowerment)

    2. Slouching. Ladies and Gents stand up tall and strengthen your core muscles. Do not slouch anywhere, not even on the toilet or sitting on your bed.

    3. Rolling Your Eyes. This is a big one for me, as I get annoyed easily. What can I say, I’m an aries. *shrugs*. Don’t roll your eyes at me.

    4. Texting, emailing, bbming. PICK UP THE DAMN PHONE AND CALL THE PERSON! BETTER YET GO TO THEIR PLACE AND SEE THEM FACE TO FACE!!! Damn technology.

    5. The headphones that block out the entire WORLD! Talk to someone on the train, bus, or on the street. Hey you never know that person can become your best friend.!!!!

    6. Processed food.  Try to get on a health kick, and DO IT .. NOW !!!

    7. Procrastinating. Start planning things and get them done. Get a great friend who will push you to accomplish this.

What other things are on your to do list for today??

@nyigf RECAP: The New York International Gift Fair

After a very rainy week, there was finally a sunny day yesterday!

We headed down to the Javits Center to see all that is new in gift, home and lifestyle products.  This show was HUGE.  We were able to hit Pier 94, the 3000’s and the 7000’s. It was crazy. I am sad that I missed the baby and the jewelry sections but I had a lot of fun and met some amazing vendors!

I will be highlighting some of my favorite products in upcoming posts but here is a sneak peek!

    R&B Rappers?

I was reading anotha blog site and they had some remixes that some R&B artist put out. They had some folk comment on some of the material and say R&B cats should’nt be rappn, but i disagree. Trey makes it hella clear his lane cant be F&ckd with. NOW! heres the thing, if you know music then you will understand what i am about to tell you. there were NO, ima repeat, there were NO R&B singers that would rap and sing and kinda slay both of their talents.

The only reason i really like Trey Songz is because alot of his street underground mixtapes back when he was with the 804 boyz. Of course bein a R&B guy i naturally went wit some of his slow stuff also. But now we see alot of other R&B cats tryna follow the same pedegree, is it swagga jackn?? hmmmmm :0) #YouBeTheJudge

P.S Trigga murked this Kreayshawn Gucci track 🙂

    Fred Perry X Amy Winehouse

Before, the wonderful and talented Amy Winehouse passed away, she was creating a clothing line with Fred Perry. Now that she is gone this line was left up in the air as no one knew what to do with it. However, after much consideration and after a blessing by Amy’s family Fred Perry will release the AW11 and SW12 collections. Amy was passionate and dedicated to the collaboration. Every piece has a sprinkle of Amy’s style. All royalities are to be donated to the soon to be established Amy Winehouse Foundation. Fred Perry will also make a donation to the foundation.

The collection will be available at Fred Perry’s Canadian store, located at 964 Queen St. W. and of course online at Fred Perry .

This is such a good idea and it keeps Amy’s memory alive. I’m so excited about it.
