    Download this Game: Subway Surfer

I am sooooo addicted to this game. I play it everyday on my way to work and it makes my 40 min commute a breeze. The best part is when the real subway jerks and jolts and you feel like you are really in the game. I also love this game because Jake is so cute and I totally dig his skateboard.

The premise of this game is that Jake is spray painting graffiti onto subway trains and the guard sees him, blows the whistle and starts chasing him with a dog. By the way, the dog looks just like Jacob. I love him.

There are daily challenges, coin collecting magnet, super sneakers, hover board and even a super head start jet pack. Even though there are tons of characters you can download, my favorite is still Jake.  Great idea for a Halloween costume next year maybe!

    Download this Game: Dental Surgery

I often browse the App store to see what is new and trending. I just found this game on the Top 30 list and had to download it. I have never liked going to the dentist and find most dental things gross. Who knew that scaling plaque or brushing someone’s teeth, adding fluoride to specific spots can actually be fun!

First you have to look at the patient chart and see what they prefer, Novocaine or laughing gas – add the correct amounts and do all the dental procedures before the pain killers wear off. If you don’t file a tooth properly, it will crack and you will have to seal it. If that doesn’t work our you have to hammer in a fake tooth.

Pretty fun and kind of addictive :]

What games are you playing on your iPod, iPhone and iPad?

    Looking for Something?

DoAT is a new iPhone app that promises to deliver a different kind of search experience.  The app lets you personalize your search, allowing you to find content the way you want to find it.

I downloaded the app to check it out…and I’d like to call it a 3D search experience.  Instead of turning up a list of search results, it gives you a list of categories, allowing you to select the direction you want to go.

For example, in my search of “Hurricane Irene” I could choose to see results in social media, reference, weather, etc.  So, if I wanted to see the latest buzz on the impending storm I would select “social.”  Then I can swipe through search results from various social media mobile apps: Twitter, LinkedIn, FourSquare and so on.  And there’s no need to actually download any of the apps.

This app definitely makes is easier to customize your results and get exactly what you’re looking for.  The “swipe” interface is unique, practical, and fun to work with.  Also, there’s a sense of discovery as you are introduced to sites you may not have used before.

Tip: Get the app at the App Store while it’s still free!
