Esperos Kid’s Backpacks are here!
ESPEROS is launching kid’s backpacks this month for Back To School. They are a modern approach to a timeless backpack with stylish and durable canvas built for children on the go. The best part: every bag sold helps fund one year of education for a child in the developing world (the brand is partnered with Pencils of Promise). When you make your purchase from ESPEROS, you do more than simply buy a bag: you carry hope
Each backpack is constructed from military cotton duck canvas that is naturally stain resistant & water repellent and features a hidden front zipper pocket, exterior zipper pouch pocket, padded laptop sleeve and a railroad stripe interior.
The backpacks are $45.00 and sold on esperosbags.com and Whole Foods stores across the nation.

Back-To-School Goodies with Modella + @got2bUSA!
September is finally here and that means the hot sticky summers are coming to an end (hooray!) and school is back in session! And I’m coming across a ton of goodies to get you ready for school and looking fab 🙂
But first you’ll need to get organized, right? Modella knows how. This company is well known for its creative designs and lush color palettes and their chic new collection is no different. These cosmetic pouches and travel accessories hold a little or a lot. Grab one of their multi-piece traveler sets or go with a roomy organizer (like the one pictured below)—I crammed all my daily necessities in there and still had room for more.
And what I love about these products is that they’re stylishly made but they’re also completely affordable. The entire range retails from around $3 up to $22 and they’re all available at Walmart. Must have!
Another back-to-school goodie I’ve come across is göt2b oil-licious styling oil. I’ve mentioned before how lazy I can be when it comes to my hair, but this styling oil really works a treat. I put it in my hair while it was damp and it gave my locks an incredible shine. I.N.C.R.E.D.I.B.L.E. Maybe I could get used to having perfectly presentable hair!
The beauty of this oil is that it can also be used on dry hair. Add a little to that frazzled hair and the oil smooths and calms it into submission! It also smells divine — none of that typical chemical smell…this one is definitely a keeper. It retails for around $5.99 at drugstores. Get it!

Why I love @SPRAYGROUND
“We’ve Got Your Back”
NYC designer DBD founded the company Sprayground. At first it was a backpack company for street artists to carry spray cans in. Now many of the backpacks have expressive designs and can be used for many things. It has been voted bag company of the year by MTV and XXL Mag.
Classes are either starting or will start soon so it’s not too late to buy yours! They have stores in NY, California, Massachusetts, NJ, Minnesota, and in other countries like Japan, Italy, Australia, and more. It’s not anywhere near you? You can buy it online! The store listings are located on their website. Some very cool designs they have are the popular sticker “Hello My Name Is”, Pipe Dream, and Money Stacks. There are many more to check out!

The company also has a limited edition bag, “Graffiti Utility Backpack”, a second-generation “Black Ops” Version 3. It can hold 22 spray cans! If you don’t have any use for spray cans, you can also use this bag to travel, hold equipment, gear, etc.
Follow Sprayground on Twitter and ‘Like’ them on Facebook. Check out their YouTube video “Talking Baby”, and others for more of their work! 🙂 - Uncategorized
Sasha Fierce Clothing Launch
Yes yes yes!
Another reason to be excited for Back to School…YES. LOL
The jewelry, shoes and eyewear, she added, “are really over the top” with large chains made in mixed metals such as silver with gold, heavily studded shoes and oversize sunglasses such as the ones Beyoncé has been seen wearing on tour. The clothes are a little more subdued to make the accessories stand out — a one-shoulder dress, black bodysuit, fake leather jacket with oversize collar, leggings and destructed jeans with mesh and lace details lining the ripped material.
Kinda loves it.

Marketing Essentials (Friday mornings)
My teacher for this class is Lee Boylan from DYG. DYG is a huge agency based in New York that specializes in predicting consumer trends. So… basically, she knows what she is talking about 🙂 DYG, Inc. was founded in 1986 by Daniel Yankelovich, Florence Skelly, Madelyn Hochstein and Patrick Grande. The company is a recognized leader in the field of social and marketing research. The firm is distinguished by its expertise in the analysis and interpretation of social/cultural trends and human motivation. I really really want to work for a trending agency! The closest thing I can compare it to in Toronto is HotSpex, I have been a member since 2004. 2 years ago, I interviewed for an analyst position there and was told quite frankly that though I qualified, they didn’t think I was a good personality match for the job. They were probably right ha ha.We have a consistent readings, tests, projects and exams for the next 8 weeks. So here we go! Customer equity, societal marketing concept, production marketing concept, consumer perceived value, marketing myopia, selling marketing concept…

Principals of Beauty Technology (Saturday all day class 6 hrs oh.em.gee)
This class is all about the technical side of beauty…that means all the chemical ingredients, the process it gets developed, approved, tested, claims for all product categories. I feel like Kim Possible! So there is OTC (over the counter) and then Cosmetic. The teacher for this class is Amy Chang. She is an industry professional who has a background in organic chemistry and chemical engineering. So you can imagine it a little bit overwhelming to hear her talk about my favorite lipstick in terms of humectants, solubilizer, viscosity and emulsifiers. O_O. But this is gonna be a tough class considering I have no background in science. But… we made a lipstick in the first class!
The mould which the lipstick ‘bullets’ are made + beakers! Cool, like Dexter’s lab 🙂
Me analysizing the drag, odor, viscosity of the blue lipstick (Wet n Wild prototype)For this class, because it is a double class (on Saturdays) it is only 5 weeks long instead of 8. Which means… I have 2 assignments and a test by next class. Cosmetic Chemistry is going to be a tough class for me but we are making eye shadow next week! Yay.
Back to studying!
