Event LOVE: Passion For Fashion Awards @PassionFashion
A few of us gathered at the Toronto Fashion Incubator for the fourth annual Passion For Fashion Awards. It was an intimate evening that started off with a cocktail reception, where we all got to sip on cocktails, snack on hors d’oeuvres and talk fashion naturally lol. Then it was time for a presentation which featured the Passion For Fashion finalists, and the announcement of the winners of the Fashionista’s Den Competition.

It’s baaack! @WMCFashionWeek
It’s that time of the year again. Fashionista’s are picking out outfits, and preparing themselves (and their feet) for an exciting week of World MasterCard Fashion S/S13 Week (I still prefer to call it Toronto Fashion Week). I’m not going to be there this season but I’ll definitely keeping an eye out for exciting looks off of the Canadian Catwalk!

Event LOVE: @nikiandlola pop-up shop

Yesterday I went over to Sweet Woodruff flower shop to celebrate the launch of Niki & Lola’s “early nomad” capsule collection. I first saw a Niki & Lola piece on Angie a few months ago, and pretty much lost my marbles, so when I got the invite to the Niki & Lola pop-up shop event, there was just NO WAY that I was going to miss it. I loved every single piece in the collection. I love the simplicity, the attention to detail, I especially love how all the pieces have this strength to them, while being delicate at the same time. My faves were the shield ring, the kingdom necklace, and there was this crazy cuff (I can’t remember what it was called but I LOVED it… I think it was called the Polygonia cuff).
This cuff WILL be mine one day. Love. Love. Love.

Event LOVE: @Valentine_K Official S/S12 Launch
Last week, we celebrated Valentine K’s second season of cozy cashmere sweaters and it was glorious! The spring/summer 2012 collection features lightweight cashmere pullovers, cardigans and hooded sweaters in a variety of colors ranging from citrine, georgia peach (my fave!), pink icing, ocean blue, lavender purple, and navy stripes.

Fun times at the @NellaBellaBrand F/W12 Presentation
I had so much fun at the Nella Bella Fall/Winter ’12 presentation on Thursday. A number of us gathered at the Urban Space Gallery on Richmond Street to drool over as well as view Nella Bella’s Fall/Winter 2012 collection. There was so much love, and positivity in the room, and I promise you that the collection offers something for everyone! Tarek was a breath of fresh air as always, and I’m so happy to have been able to celebrate his new collection 🙂
